Recently, the SM8475 snapdragon 8 Plus has been revealed, with major changes including upgrading TSMC’s 4nm process and better energy efficiency.
The much-anticipated TSMC 4NM SM8475 is tentatively scheduled for release in mid to late this month, with the first terminal products expected to be available next month, according to digital blogger @digital Chat.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus uses a “1+3+4” architecture consisting of the hypercore Cortex X2, the large core Cortex A710 and the small core Cortex A510, with a 2.99ghz CPU and a slightly upgraded GPU.
According to Yogesh Brar, the Snapdragon 8 Plus will have an overall performance boost of around 10%, making it the most powerful 5G SoC in the history of Snapdragon.
As for who will make the debut, @digitalChat revealed that the snapdragon 8 Plus processor powered by MOTOROLA’s new MOTOROLA phone has been filed, which is the industry’s first snapdragon 8 Plus model to be filed.
It should be noted that the Mi 12 Ultra will be one of the first products to be launched, with the Snapdragon 8 Plus expected to debut.

It will be interesting to see who will actually launch and whether MOTOROLA will jump the gun like snapdragon 8 did.
