Qualcomm is preparing to release a new mobile processor called Snapdragon 670, which will replace Snapdragon 660. It is already seen in the benchmark Geekbench, where it demonstrated impressive results. This is reported by the Internet portal.
In Geekbench, there was a mention of a test device based on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, which is supplemented with 6GB of Ram. The device is running a mobile operating system Android 8.1.0 Oreo. The benchmark indicates that the new processor consists of 8 cores and operates at a clock speed of 1.71 GHz.
In a single-core test, the device based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 received 1863 points, and in the multi-core mode, its result was 5256 points.
As expected, Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 will be produced on a 10-nanometer process. It will include 4 Kryo 360 Gold cores, 4 Kryo 385 Silver cores, Adreno 620 graphics and a Snapdragon X16 LTE modem. The chip will support cameras with a resolution of up to 26MP and up to 13MP (for dual cameras). When the announcement of Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 takes place, it is still unknown. It is only reported that with it, Qualcomm can also present Snapdragon 640 and Snapdragon 460 processors.
