German media leaked the news Roland Quandt previously announced that Qualcomm is building a new ARM mobile platform called QM215. New devices equipped with this new platform are now exposed for the first time.
The news of the exposure is still from Roland Quandt. He said that these devices are equipped with 1GB/2GB RAM, run Android 9 Pie based on Android Go, and support QC 1.0 fast charge (10W). Geekbench running points show that this mobile platform integrates 4 core CPUs, the main frequency is 1.3GHz, the single core running points are 643, 648, and the multi-core running points are 1738 and 1815 respectively.
One of the running information pages shows that the motherboard of the device is “QC_Reference_Phone”, which means that its real body should be Qualcomm’s reference prototype device.
This new platform will focus on Android Go lightweight system platform devices. Its specifications are similar to the classic entry-level processors Snapdragon 210 and Snapdragon 212. The Snapdragon 210 is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core CPU, the Geekbench single-core run is around 300 points, and the multi-core run is less than 1000 points.
