Powkiddy, a maker of consumer-friendly game consoles, recently introduced the Y6 Game Stick, a two-controller bundle priced at $46.99.
The “gaming stick” measures 100 x 37 x 15 mm (3.9 x 1.5 x 0.6 inches) and has an HDMI port on one end, a USB-A port on the other, a USB-C port for power and a microSD card slot on the side.
Like Google’s Chromecast and Amazon’s Fire TV Stick, the Powkiddy Y6 plugs into your TV to play a variety of classic retro games.
Internally, Powkiddy Y6 features Amlogic S905X2 SoC (four 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali-G32 MP2 GPU), preloaded with the EmuELEC 4.3 distribution, It can run SONY PS1, Nintendo NES, SNES and Sega games.
