We have been hearing and reporting a lot recently about the release of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flagship. Up until now there has been a lot of speculation and rumor surrounding a possible release date, which has been widely accepted as being Mid August. However more recent rumors out of China suggest an announcement about the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be forthcoming on July 25.
Adding to this the device is said to be coming with a 5.7-inch display,It is claimed the device will feature the new Snapdragon 821 chipset along with 6GB of RAM with more versions coming, and a price tag of around 2499 Yuan or roughly $375. The July 25 release date has been not really announced officially as yet.
Xiaomi have been fervently teasing users and usually that means that an official release date is coming. I guess everyone is reacting to a very cryptic message coming from Xiaomi themselves. A few days ago Xiaomi released a statement saying 2>5. The symbol > could imply 7, which possibly could mean 2>5 is a clue to the July 25 date (7 / 25). Kinda reminds me of the Riddler in the Batman movie.
Then there was this comment made by the Xiaomi co-founder,Lin Bin.He stated that Xiaomi will release a flagship in July, the safe money is on the release of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Nothing is certain, and as there has been no official announcement from Xiaomi, we can only speculate as to what Xiaomi is actually telling us.
