Since the release of iPhone X, its unique definition of the full display has drawn many users’ attention and hot discussion. With a “notch” top design and narrower edges, the whole screen is all display. Many manufacturers have tried to break through this tech, but no one started delivery so far. But now, the Chinese manufacturer OUKITEL is announcing that their latest smartphone OUKITEL U18 which resembles iPhone X is about to release.
The OUKITEL U18 features a 5.85 inch 21:9 display with 1512×720 resolution. Similar as iPhone X, on the top middle of U18 lay the front camera, receiver and P/G/L sensors, on the top left displays system time, while the SIM card, wifi, and battery sign are shown on the top right side. However, on the back cover, OUKITEL U18 is totally different from iPhone X. It looks more like the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The back cover is 3D curved to fit better in the human hand and painted with rubber paint for comfortable hand feel.
Speaking of the specs, OUKITEL U18 will be powered by MediaTek MT6750T Cortex A53 octa-core 1.5Ghz chipset. It will also get 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with 64GB expandable memory. If you worry about the battery life, then U18 won’t let you down. It will take 4000mAh battery, supporting long time standby.
To offer quick delivery of U18, OUKITEL will do Android 7.0 on this device but will consider updating to Android 8 when Oreo is fluent and stable enough. Like all other OUKITEL devices, U18 will support dual SIM dual standby, you can insert 2 nano SIM or 1 nano SIM with 1 TF card.
OUKITEL U18 will start Global First Presale by next Monday which is January 29th. According to OUKITEL, U18 retail price will be around $180. During presale, OUKITEL will cooperate with several online stores to hold the global first sale at a surprising wallet-friendly price. Do you like this combination of iPhone X and Huawei Mate 10 pro?
