Design
The new tablet has a slightly bigger screen than its predecessors but remains just as thin and light, with a thickness of only 7.6mm and a weight of 449 grams. There is no information about the body material, but it seems to be plastic. The tablet is available in green and grey colors, with various accessories such as a protective case, Bluetooth keyboard, and stylus pen, sold separately.
Display
The Oscal Pad 18 has a larger 11-inch display with a resolution of FHD 1200*1920 pixels. It also features Widevine L1 Support, providing access to streaming services like Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, and others.
Hardware
Powered by the Unisoc T616 processor, the Oscal Pad 18 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet scored 275,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark, showing improved performance compared to the Oscal Pad 10. You can expand RAM up to 20GB and internal memory up to 1TB with a memory card.
Software
The Oscal Pad 18 runs on DokeOS 3.0 based on the latest Android 13 operating system. The tablet can function as a laptop by connecting a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, enabling a PC mode with multiple floating windows.
Camera
The Oscal Pad 18 boasts upgraded cameras, with a 13MP main camera on the rear panel and a 13MP front camera. This is an improvement from the Oscal Pad 13, which had a 13MP main camera and 8MP front camera.
Battery
One of the significant improvements is the larger battery capacity of 8800mAh and 18W fast charging support. The manufacturer promises 48 hours more of standby time.
Connectivity
In terms of connectivity, the Oscal Pad 18 supports dual-band Wi-Fi and dual 4G LTE on two SIM cards. Additionally, the tablet supports four navigation systems: GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo.
