This morning, OPPO officially announced OPPO Watch 3 series, which will be the first Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen1 wearable platform in the world.
There was no official word on when the event would take place, but sources say it will be held in early August, or next week at the latest.
Compared with the past, the Snapdragon W5 brings three key upgrades: first, ultra-low power consumption and longer battery life; Second, breakthrough performance, improve user experience; Third, ultra-high integration, compact packaging, make the equipment more frivolous.
The large core and coprocessor are manufactured with 4nm and 22nm technology respectively, which is significantly upgraded compared with the previous generation combination of 12nm and 28nm, and the total area is reduced by fully 30%.
The big core is responsible for 5% of the interaction time, supporting Wear OS, AOSP operating system, and supports Android applications.
The coprocessor is responsible for 95% of the scenario time, and it integrates M55 CPU core, 2.5D GPU, display, audio, etc. for FreeRTOS system to maintain the daily operation of the device with lower power consumption.
