Oppo officially launched the first smart television models that have been on the agenda for a long time, based in China. Under the slogan “One More Step”, together with Oppo TV S1, the company also has announced Oppo TV R1, which is a cheaper TV line, which includes models with a screen diagonal of 55 and 65 inches.
The resolution of Oppo TV R1 is 4K (3840 × 2160 pixels), HDR10 + support, and 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space are declared. Inside the new products are a quad-core MediaTek MT9652 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 32GB drive.
The TVs have Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 wireless interfaces, as well as an HDMI 2.1 connector. It is noted that the audio system for devices with a power of 20W with support for Dolby Audio.
Both models of Oppo TV R1 run on the ColorOS TV operating system, which has a rich user experience. In addition, the devices are equipped with an NFC- enabled remote control for functions in conjunction with a smartphone.
Oppo TV R1 with a screen diagonal of 65 inches was priced in China at 4299 yuan ($643). The 55-inch model costs 3299 yuan ($494). Unfortunately, it is not known whether Oppo will decide to introduce its TV sets to other countries.
