Although it has already been announced in China, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro can bring a number of different specifications in its Indian version. That’s because the device was “spotted” at a retail store in the country showing a technical sheet and design with considerable changes.
The first visible highlight is that, unlike the Chinese model, the Reno 3 Pro will be announced in India with a dual front camera. The available technical data indicates that we are talking about a 44MP main sensor for selfies, while in the Chinese version we have a single 32MP lens.
The front also holds a fingerprint sensor placed under the display, while the screen size remains at 6.5 inches. This display is an OLED FHD, which brings a refresh rate of 90 Hz and supports the HDR10 +.
The revealed image also shows that the Reno3 Pro in India supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 and has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as a highlight. But there are likely to be other memory options that have yet to be confirmed.
The configuration of the rear cameras has also been changed. Thus, the main sensor of 48MP of the Chinese variant comes out to enter a 64MP (Samsung GW1) in the Indian version. The other lenses remain the same: 13MP telephoto, 8MP wide-angle and 2MP depth.
The rest of the Indian Reno 3 Pro’s specs are likely to be the same as the Chinese variant, but with another notable difference is that, while in China the Reno 3 Pro was announced with Snapdragon 765G, in India it must have a MediaTek Helio P95 processor.
According to the Flipkart ad, Reno 3 Pro will be launched in India on March 2, 2020. The poster on the page shows the Indian Actor, Ranbir Kapoor, holding a blue version of the phone. Reportedly, the actor is one of the brand ambassadors of the Chinese smartphone maker.
The poster also has the International Cricket Council logo. OPPO is the official mobile partner of ICC. The partnership was renewed last year for 4 more years after it first started from 2015 to 2019. We don’t know how much the Reno 3 Pro will cost in India, but we do know it will be sold through Amazon.in and Flipkart.
