New smartphone development never stops. Oppo made the Reno series official in the first half of this year and is already working on its successor, the Reno 2. We have seen some rumors and information being published about the future flagship model of the Chinese brand, but now a brand executive has taken the opportunity to publish a GIF showing the stabilization of video on the Reno 2.
The GIF was published by Oppo Vice President Shen Yiren, featuring one stabilized model and one without. This makes it unclear whether Reno 2 will have OIS (optical stabilization) or EIS (electronic stabilization).
We already know some of its technical characteristics, both from the brand itself, which had released some specifications and through the TENAA and 3C certifications which also revealed to us what their design will be after all.
Apart from the excellent camera, the main protagonist is expected to be the 4000mAh battery, as it supports fast charging of 20W VOOC 3.0. It will also have 8GB of RAM along with 256GB of storage. Finally, charge via USB Type-C port. For the screen, the Oppo Reno 2 will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel with 2400 x 1080 resolution with a 20: 9 diagonal. The back will also be glass but with Gorilla Glass 5.
Oppo is expected to unveil Reno 2 during an event to be held in India on August 28. That is, in less than a week we can meet the model officially. By then, we should certainly see new leaks and rumors.
