An OPPO phone with model number PEYM00 has been approved by the Chinese telecommunications authority TENAA, which is likely to be released as soon as this month. Data from TENAA has revealed the full specifications of the OPPO PEYM00, but its images have yet to appear. In addition, the final marketing name of the device remains a secret.
Accordingly, OPPO PEYM00 is a 5G-enabled mobile device, measuring 158.7 x 735 x 8.5 mm and weighing 180 grams. The phone is equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that offers Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) and a 20:9 aspect ratio, which can support 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rates.
The smartphone has a 4400mAh battery. It supports fast charging, but the exact charging speeds have yet to be confirmed. Under the hood of the device is an unspecified 3 GHz octa-core processor. It could probably be powered by a Dimensity 1200 or Snapdragon 888+ processor.
The PEYM00 smartphone will come with 8GB / 12GB RAM options. It can be in storage options like 128GB and 256GB. The device does not have a microSD card slot. It will come pre-loaded with Android 11 and ColorOS user interface.
For selfies, the OPPO PEYM00 offers a 16MP selfie camera. Its rear camera system includes a triple camera with a resolution of 64MP + 8MP + 2MP. For security reasons, the PEYM00 is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to arrive in China in colors such as black, silver, and blue.
