Originally, OPPO plans to launch a new flagship smartphone Find X2 at the MWC 2020 event, but after the event has been canceled. The company announced that the smartphone will be postponed to launch next month instead. Before the day the Find X2 launches There have been rumors coming out from time to time. The latest rumor that has been released is that the Find X2 Pro smartphone may be released with a regular model as well.
Today, an infamous Chinese tipster the Digital Chat Station states that the Find X2 Pro will come with an upgraded periscope lens with 60x digital zoom, which its performance is better than the camera of the Reno 10X Zoom Edition.
We have also heard that the Find X2 could arrive with a 6.5 ″ screen with a hole that will house a 32MP Sony IMX616 camera. The screen is expected to have a Quad HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling of 240 Hz.
Other features that the phone screen will offer are 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color range, maximum brightness in HDR up to 1,200 nits and conversion of SDR content to HDR. Inside, it will feature the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, LPDDR5 RAM, USB 3.0 storage, Wi-Fi 6 and 65W fast charging.
Rumors indicate that the smartphone will come with a 13MP periscopic telephoto lens. Its main 48MP lens will have a Sony IMX689 sensor co-developed by Sony and OPPO. and, in addition, a new ultra-wide-angle lens with Sony IMX708 sensor is expected.
As we mentioned, the Find X2 launch event that was going to take place in Barcelona on February 22 has been canceled. The company has said it will share more information about the smartphone’s launch in March 2020 in the coming days or weeks.
