Igeekphone October 3 news, One Plus founder, OPPO senior vice president and CPO Liu Zuohu recently confirmed that One Plus Open and OPPO Find N3 are different names for the same foldable screen phone. Now, Liu Zuohu has officially introduced us to an early version of this foldable screen device.
In an interview with Lewis Hilsenteger, host of the YouTube channel Unbox Therapy, Liu said OnePlus has more than 600 patents related to hinges. They decided on a seamless hinge design, like the OPPO Find N2. However, the new machine is 37% smaller than the hinge in the Find N2, with 31 fewer parts.
Lewis Hilsenteger was also given a marketing prototype of the OnePlus Open, and Liu asked Hilsenteger to fold the phone up and slip a piece of paper inside it, from which the phone could be suspended without any obvious slippage, to demonstrate the hinge’s seamless effect.
From the video, you can see the body design of the OnePlus Open, using a green glass back cover, the lens module is partially blocked, the metal frame is inclined to the right Angle design, but also some small chamfer to improve the grip.
