OPPO launched the OPPO A57 5G in April to build the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC to support 5G networks. Now it has launched a 4G version equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 chip in markets such as Thailand.
The chip is not the only difference between the two models, the 4G model is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, the charging speed is increased from 10W to 33W, but the screen refresh rate is reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz, although it is still 720p+ 6.56-inch LCD screen with high resolution.
In addition, the memory and storage of this model have also changed. The 4G version has only 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space and supports up to 4GB of RAM expansion and up to 1TB of storage expansion.
At first glance, the OPPO A57 4G looks the same as the 5G version, but after careful inspection, you will find that the design of the rear lens part is slightly different. In addition, the 4G version also adopts the OPPO Glow design.
The OPPO A57 4G uses a rear dual camera consisting of a side fingerprint, 13MP main camera + 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP camera on the front, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, IP54 rating and Dirac 3.0 certification, ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 is pre-installed, and it is available in two colors.
The smartphone currently sells for 5,499 baht (about 1,080 yuan) in Thailand, but users who preorder through online retailers can get it as low as 4,999 baht (about 980 yuan). Whether it will be launched in other markets is still unknown.
