After being announced that OnePlus will present a new Smart TV on July 2, the Android Authority website said that the company will present its new mid-range smartphone Oneplus Z on the 10th of next month.
This information comes hours after the alleged price and main specifications of the equipment were released. According to the DesiDeme forum, the OnePlus Z will be launched in India for 24,900 rupees (about $329).
You should bear in mind that in Europe you cannot expect the equipment for as low as the value of this direct conversion. This is because OnePlus receives incentives from the Indian government to assemble the equipment locally, ultimately reducing costs for the final consumer.
According to what was posted by the same forum, the OnePlus Z will be launched with a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED screen, with a built-in fingerprint sensor and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Commanding the operations will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which guarantees support for 5G. Accompanying will be in the base version, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.
This same source says that the equipment will have three rear cameras of 64MP, 16MP, and 2MP. Although without confirmation, it is speculated that the secondary sensors will be a wide-angle (16MP) and a macro or depth sensor (2MP). In the hole in the center of the screen will be the 16MP front camera.
Apparently, we can expect a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging. The release date has not been officially confirmed, but it should be a matter of days before that happens.
