Recently, OnePlus founder and CEO Liu Zuohu warmed up for the OnePlus TV to be launched in India on July 2 and revealed some new details about OnePlus TV 2020. One of them is that OnePlus TV will be equipped with ultra-thin bezels and carbon fiber patterns, and as thin as the previous OnePlus 8, it will also be equipped with rotating speakers. In an interview with Android Central, Liu Zuohu stated that OnePlus hopes to differentiate its products by focusing on two key pillars (design and user experience). The new OnePlus TV product line is positioned as an entry-price ratio. It has been confirmed that the price in India will be less than 20,000 rupees (about 1874 yuan), and it will promote ultra-thin design, only 6.9mm, which is thinner than OnePlus 8. In addition, the TV will be equipped with slender bezels to provide an immersive viewing experience.
It is said that the back of the OnePlus TV has a carbon fiber texture, similar to the flagship Q1 series. Although the size has not yet been announced, there are rumors that there may be 32-inch and 43-inch versions, Liu Zuohu confirmed that the screen ratio will be as high as 95%.
In an interview, Liu Zuohu said: “Although we are expanding into an affordable high-end market, we have always attached great importance to design. In our borderless design, the ratio of the screen to the body is 95%, which is obvious. This is very common in high-end TVs, but it is a prominent feature in high-end economy products.” As previously confirmed, the TV will have a 93% DCI-P3 color gamut and Dolby Vision.

As for the speakers, the new OnePlus TV 2020 will use an innovative sound arrangement. The speakers can be rotated by 90°. This configuration will allow two large full-range speakers to be installed on the new OnePlus TV. It is said that they will make the bass 50% deeper. At present, the new OnePlus TV has been scheduled for Amazon India, but it is not known whether it will log in to the domestic market in the future.
