Rumors of other cheap OnePlus smartphones for the Nord series have been circulating on the net for a long time. Today, the reliable telecom journalist Steve Hemmerstoffer has put specifications of the OnePlus Nord N100 online.
According to him, the budget device will have a 6.52-inch LCD screen with a relatively low 720p resolution. The smartphone runs on the Snapdragon 460 processor, a chip that we also find in the Motorola Moto E7 Plus. Just like Motorola, OnePlus adds 4GB of RAM and the storage space is 64GB.
On the back of the phone, we see three cameras. The primary sensor has a resolution of 13MP. In addition, we find a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor of also 2MP. You cannot take pictures with that. The sensor is only intended to support the main camera when taking portrait photos. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP.
The OnePlus Nord N100 has long been known as the OnePlus Clover. Previous rumors spoke of a battery of no less than 6000mAh. Hemmerstoffer reduces expectations somewhat. He talks about a battery from 5000mAh. In combination with a relatively economical chip, this should still yield excellent battery life.
Further specifications of the OnePlus Nord N100 are a USB-C connection, a headphone connection, and support for dual SIM. So you can store two SIM cards in the device. 5G is missing.
According to the specifications leaked today, the OnePlus Nord N100 is expected to be OnePlus’ most affordable phone. Currently, the price information of this smartphone has not been disclosed, but it is likely that it will be sold for less than $220. Wait and watch it!
