More than six months after introducing the Nord 2g, OnePlus has introduced a new Nord CE 2 5G. The CE stands for Core Edition, which is a streamlined, redesigned version of the Nord 2 5g.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 retains the Nord 2’s 90Hz 6.43in AMOLED display and 4,500mah battery, supporting 65W SuperVOOC quick charging, using a new Dimensity 900 5G chipset, and replaces the camera.
The Nord CE 2 5G is a slim 7.8mm body with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot, both of which are missing on the Nord 2. There is a redesigned camera module on the back, with a 64 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle camera and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera is 16 megapixels and the Nord 2 is 32 megapixels.
The new phone comes in 6GB and 8GB versions with only 128GB of storage, which can be expanded through a microSD slot. OxygenOS 11.3 is based on Android 11.
