Initially known for its flagship killer, OnePlus moved upmarket and launched the Nord series in the mid-range and high-end mid-market. The Nord series has been a huge success since its launch, and today the company launched the new OnePlus Nord 3 and OnePlus CE 3 phones in India.
The OnePlus Nord 3 is the successor to the OnePlus Nord 2T and follows the familiar mid-range configuration. There are some new designs on the exterior, the middle frame and back are right angles, and the camera module is integrated into the body. The front bezel is narrower, and the front camera is centered. With a classic three-stage mute switch on the side and an infrared transmitter on the top, the phone is also IP54 rated dust and water resistant.
An important upgrade to the Nord 3 is the display, which is increased in size to 6.74 inches, has FHD+ resolution, refresh rate up to 120Hz, is made of AMOLED material and is protected by Dragontrail glass on the front and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back.
The Nord 3 is powered by the 4nm Mediatek Breguet 9000 chipset, an improvement over the previous 6nm Breguet 1300. Oneplus claims a 42.9% improvement in CPU performance and a 58.6% improvement in GPU performance. The new machine comes with 8GB / 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Oneplus says the Nord 3 has the same main camera hardware as the OnePlus 11, which is a 50-megapixel SONY IMX890 sensor with an aperture of f / 1.9 and supports optical stabilization for 4K 60fps video recording. There’s also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera next to the main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 16-megapixel camera on the front.
Another highlight of the Nord 3 is the 5000mAh battery, which is larger than the Nord 2T’s 4500mAh battery, supports 80W fast charge, and comes with a charger. The new phone is powered by OxygenOS 13.1, based on Android 13, and OnePlus promises three major Android updates and four years of security updates.
The OnePlus Nord 3 phone is priced at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version. The 16GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs 37,999 (currently about RMB3,344) and will go on sale in India on July 15. Available in Misty Green and Tempest Gray.

Like the Nord 3, it has a 5000mAh battery and 80W fast charge, and the main camera is the same 50 megapixel SONY IMX890 sensor and supports optical stabilization.
