OnePlus wants to get rid of the 3.5mm audio jack port when they get ready to launch OnePlus 6. In fact, the statement they made long ago before OnePlus officially released OnePlus 6 as a flagship smartphone that appeared in May last year.
At that time, OnePlus confirmed that the loss of the 3.5mm audio jack port allowed them to load larger batteries, even support IP-rating certification. That was only proven when they released OnePlus 6T in October 2018.
However, when OnePlus launched OnePlus 6, this Chinese smartphone manufacturer also introduced the OnePlus Bullets Wireless. These accessories also received many positive reviews from well-known tech reviewers because they came with the support of fast charging features via USB Type-C and Google Assistant.
Related to this, recently Pete Lau as CEO of OnePlus expressed his opinion about the removal of the 3.5mm audio jack port. Through his Weibo account, he believes that the loss of the 3.5mm audio jack will spur the development of wireless earphones.
Like every generation that all of us have succeeded in, technology must develop for the better. Pete Lau also added that although Bullet Wireless is very good, the audio device made by OnePlus can be made even better.
Well! he ended his post by asking for advice from loyal users of OnePlus to improve the capabilities of the Wireless Bullets he developed. So, will the OnePlus 7 come with Wireless Bullets whose capabilities have been upgraded?
Until now, there has been no evidence or rumor that the OnePlus 7 will launch along with the latest wireless earphones, maybe even with wireless earbuds. But both are believed to have better capabilities than the existing Wireless Bullets.
