Oneplus has officially announced the new OnePlus 9RT 5G phone, which will be available online at 19:30 on October 13. In addition, OnePlus also announced One More Thing, a new noise-reducing voice generation OnePlus Buds Z2 wireless earphone will launch on October 13 at OnePlus 9RT press conference. Oneplus says it has everything you want: deep noise reduction, long battery life and excellent sound quality.
Previously, it was revealed that OnePlus Buds Z2 will adopt the in-ear design similar to the previous generation, with silica gel earplugs, and provide black and white colors. The size of the charging case is 73.15×36.80× 29.07mm.
The most significant upgrade of OnePlus Buds Z2 will be to support active noise reduction and Dolby panoramic sound. It is equipped with 3 microphones, and the design improvement in battery life and other aspects has improved the problem of wind noise. The headphones feature an 11mm moving coil unit that is waterproof and sweatproof, IP55 certification, and a charging case that is IPX4.
OnePlus Buds Z2 will also support Bluetooth 5.2, but without the advanced audio stream codec, only support basic AAC and SBC, with an active noise reduction depth of 40 dB and microphone sensitivity of -38dB (+-2dB).
In other aspects, the headset may use a 40mAh battery, while the charging case uses a 520mAh battery. It takes 90 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, with a total battery life of 27 hours (noise reduction) and 38 hours when the noise reduction is not turned on.
This earphone can get 5 hours of continuous playback time when ANC is on, and 7 hours when ANC is off, which is a major breakthrough compared to the 5 hours of Buds Z of the previous generation.
The official OnePlus has also released a rendering of OnePlus 9RT 5G. The image is the same as the previous one, showing what is supposed to be a Hacker silver color, which is very textured.
