Onleaks, the whistleblower, recently shared renderings and key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus Buds 3 headphones. The OnePlus Buds 3 closely resemble the design of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, featuring a two-color design for the headphone handle and silicone ear tips. Leaked specifications reveal that the OnePlus Buds 3 will boast dual drivers, including a 10.4mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. Moreover, they will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, dual-device pairing, and Google Quick Pairing.
Furthermore, each earphone of the OnePlus Buds 3 is equipped with three microphones to reduce call noise, and they offer an impressive 48dB of active noise reduction (ANC). These earphones come with an IP55 protection rating, while the headphone case is rated at IPX4. Notably, each earphone weighs just 4.7 grams, making them lighter than the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The leaked information also indicates that the OnePlus Buds3 headphones will deliver a substantial battery life of 9 hours, with a total battery life of 33 hours when combined with the charging box, which boasts a battery capacity of 520mAh. When active noise reduction is activated, the headset still offers a respectable 6 hours of battery life, with a total of 22 hours when using the charging box. Additionally, a quick 10-minute charge provides 5 hours of music playback.
Yogesh Brar, the source of this leak, has also mentioned that these new headphones are set to be released alongside the OnePlus 12 mobile phone in January 2024.
