On October 15, 2020, OnePlus launched its new OnePlus 8T phone and when it went on sale, only one minute after its sales of the whole network exceeded the 100 million mark, and it won the double champions of Suning.com and JD.com. The top version is out of stock and now the news about the OnePlus 9 is already wedged.
There are also rumors that more Nord smartphones may arrive in a few months, but we are no longer surprised by this. According to @Android central, the new OnePlus 9 is launching in March 2021, which is about 4 weeks earlier than usual, but no information is available on the exact date.
Since the release of OnePlus ’first smartphone, it has introduced two flagship series each year. One with a series of numbers and the other with the symbol T. Recently, products called Nord have been launched. Smartphones marked with the OnePlus number are launched in mid-March or April each year, and members of the T-Series are launched in November.
Specifications
OnePlus 9 has little information available, but we know its code name is “Lemonade”. Furthermore, it is also expected that as the new flagship of OnePlus, the OnePlus 9 Series will receive the next Snapdragon 8 Series SoC (probably Snapdragon 875). The AMOLED display will operate at a refresh rate of at least 120 Hz and the device will support a minimum of 65W of charging.
It is reported that the Snapdragon 875 chip uses the ARM Cortex X1 super core for the first time, while using the ARM Cortex A78 core, and uses an integrated 5G baseband.
In addition, a source has revealed the GeekBench score of the Snapdragon 875 chip. The data shows that the single-core points of the Snapdragon 875 processor are 1100 points, while the multi-core performance points are around 4100 points, which is evident in the performance.
