OnePlus 9 series is rumored to launch sometime in March and key specifications details on the OnePlus 9 series consists of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, and a mid-cost OnePlus 9 (SE, lite, or 9R not yet specified). There have been a ton of leaks already, revealing the design as well as the specifications of Oneplus 9 and 9 Pro, and now, we have got the screenshots from both phones that confirm major specifications like the cameras, display, storage, processor, etc.
As we will see from the screenshot of the About Phone page, the OnePlus 9 bears the model number “LE2113”, as we can see in the screenshot above, and comes with Android 11 based OxygenOS running out of the box. The phone features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and has a flat-screen. The last year’s OnePlus 8T had the same panel. Unsurprisingly, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SOC, and the screenshots are from the 8GB + 128GB variant.
Coming to the cameras, there are three on the rear, and they include a 50MP primary shooter paired with a 48MP ultrawide camera and a third 2MP sensor that we believe is there for macro shots. Compared to the last year’s 8T of last year, there is one less camera but a newer primary sensor and an upgraded ultrawide unit.
While OnePlus 9 Pro has the model number “LE2123” and has a large 6.7-inch curved Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. As we know already, this is an LTPO panel, something we have seen on phones like the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The resolution is Quad-HD+, just like the OnePlus 8 Pro of last year. The cameras are going to be one of the USPs of this phone because, as we have seen in the hands-on images that leaked earlier, OnePlus has partnered with Hasselblad.
The screenshots reveal that the OnePlus 9 Pro has a primary 50MP camera paired with a 48MP ultrawide camera, an 8MP sensor (most probably for zoom shots), and a 2MP camera. The screenshots from the camera app also reveal that the phone can shoot 8K videos at 30fps and 4K videos at up to 120fps.
According to leaker Max Jambor, both smartphones should be equipped with a 4500mAh battery module, which in fact would not represent a variation compared to that used on OnePlus 8T. We’ve also heard rumors about the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro supporting wireless charging. The Pro variant will go all the way up to 45W, but the charging speed of the regular 9 remains unknown.
