Chinese manufacturer Oneplus has released a new firmware update for its latest tops Oneplus 8 Series. Thus, Oneplus 8 is now receiving OxygenOS 10.5.10, while Oneplus 8 Pro is receiving OxygenOS 10.5.12.
Despite having different version numbers, these small updates have the same changelog, and the most prominent note is the fact that it arrived with the security patch of the Android operating system, for the month of August 2020.
Here is the Changelog:
System
- Fixed the issue of displaying overlapping characters with the Display Environment
- Fixed known issues and improved system stability
- Android security patch updated to 2020.08
Chamber
- Optimized photo effect with the front camera
As you can see above, problems of Oneplus 8 Series with the display environment and system stability have also been updated, in addition to a problem with the front camera. Of course, the bug fixes and improvements made to system stability should not be underestimated, although it remains to be seen whether or not they are significant improvements.
As always, OTA updates are distributed over waves. If you are in a hurry, you should look for OxygenUpdater tools, as the download links are also not in circulation.
