OnePlus 8 is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2020 with 3 variants including OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 Lite. In December 2019, Twitter account @OnLeaks shared OnePlus 8 Lite’s first render, which shows it has a dual-camera on the back. Now, @OnLeaks has shared another image, and this time, OnePlus 8 Lite has 3 rear cameras, not 2 more.
Also according to @OnLeaks render, in addition to the three cameras, the back also has an LED flash on the right side, covered in glossy glass and has the OnePlus logo in the middle. There is no fingerprint sensor on the back, so OnePlus 8 Lite is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
In addition, another leaked photo of OnePlus 8 Lite in real life also shows the back of the phone with triple cameras arranged vertically in the upper left corner. The OnePlus 8 Lite (right) is placed next to a smartphone with a small notch, apparently the OnePlus 6.
In December 2019, a report on the detailed specifications of the OnePlus 8 series was leaked, including OnePlus 8 Lite. The report reveals the OnePlus 8 Lite will have a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, 20: 9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate, Full HD + resolution.
OnePlus 8 Lite uses MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip and has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Devices can have 2 versions of internal memory is 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.0. Three rear cameras include Sony IMX586 48MP main sensor + 16MP super wide-angle lens + 12MP telephoto lens, support OIS optical stabilization, and EIS electronic stabilization.
OnePlus 8 Lite can integrate a 4000mAh battery, support 30W fast charging. It can achieve IP53 waterproof certification with stereo speakers. In terms of price, OnePlus 8 Lite is priced at 2999 Yuan (about US$432) for the 128GB version, 3299 Yuan (about US$475) for the 256GB version.
