October is likely to be a busy month. If we believe a new leak, then OnePlus could hold a press conference on October 17th to present the OnePlus 6T.
By browsing Weibo, MySmartPrice has indeed fallen on the picture of what is presented as an invitation directly from the Chinese brand. Rather sober, the latter has a visual representing the contours of a smartphone and it refers specifically to an event scheduled for October 17 in India.
This is not the first time this date is mentioned by the leakers. Forbidding an invitation is not a particularly difficult exercise. One thing is certain, however, the presentation of the OnePlus 6T is imminent and it will occur before the end of the year. Pete Lau and his associates have indeed mentioned the terminal multiple times and it would not be surprising that the announcement takes place next month, before the end of year celebrations.
The OnePlus 6T should be close enough to the current module in terms of technical features. One should expect a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 845 with 6 or 8GB of RAM. The storage space may oscillate between 64 and 128GB, but it is also possible that the firm goes further and doubles the stake.
Consumer memory needs have changed a lot in recent times and it would not be surprising to see OnePlus 6T with 128 and 256GB of internal memory. The headphone jack, it will go to the door and the information has been confirmed by the manufacturer himself. We should not expect a big surprise in the photo.
In contrast, the design side, the OnePlus 6T should mark a break. The notch would still be present but in the form of a drop. More interestingly, the fingerprint reader would be directly integrated into the slab of the device, in the manner of Vivo NEX S.
