As we said just last week, there are few details on upcoming top-of-the-range smartphones, with only a couple of exceptions (like Galaxy S9 and Huawei P20 ). However, it is interesting to understand what are the most anticipated products based on what the various companies have offered in the previous year. Our survey looked at smartphones that would arrive in the first half of the year or in any case the first top of the range of each company. As we find out that Oneplus 6 obtain the most voted phones were.
- OnePlus 6 – 24.2%
- Xiaomi Mi7 – 11.6%
- Google Pixel 3 – 10.3%
- Samsung Galaxy S9 – 10.3%
- Sony Xperia XZ2 – 10%
- Huawei P20 – 6.4%
- Apple iPhone X 2018 – 5.2%
- LG G7 – 5.1%
- Nokia 9 – 4.8%
- HTC U12 – 3.5%
- Honor 10 – 3.1%
We do not show here the results beyond the tenth. Our readers are therefore particularly attracted to the next OnePlus 6, of which we still know nothing. This smartphone alone has obtained more than double the votes of the second position, where we find Xiaomi Mi 7 that with the recent arrival of the company in Italy has certainly attracted attention. Then we find Galaxy S9, tied with Google Pixel 3. Following all the other famous brands such as Sony, Huawei, Apple, LG, Nokia, and HTC.
We expect Oneplus 6 new 6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. This means that the front will almost entirely consist of a screen similar to the appearance of the OnePlus 5T. There are also rumors that the fingerprint sensor is placed under-screen, but we think it more plausible that the scanner is still placed on the back.
Under the under the body, you will find the Snapdragon 845-soc from Qualcomm. Qualcomm lets Samsung make the 845 on the second generation of the 10nm process, making the chipset both faster and more efficient. Benchmark results have shown that the processor is about 20 to 25 percent faster than its predecessor. The Adreno 630 GPU performs in most tests even 30 percent better than the Adreno 530 of the Snapdragon 835, the chip of the OnePlus 5 and 5T. It is plausible that two configurations of the OnePlus 6 will be placed on the market: 6GB or 8GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage respectively.

We will have to be patient because the OnePlus 6 will be introduced in the summer of 2018. That is about a year after the unveiling of the OnePlus 5, which was followed by the OnePlus 5T after a few months. The current flagship has a larger screen, an improved camera, and considerably narrower bezels.
