OnePlus is continuing its streak of teasing its upcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone. Today, the company has released an image that only shows the left side of the OnePlus 6 that is placed underneath the OnePlus 5T phone. A close at the image reveals some design change that will be available on the OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 5T’s upper and bottom portion of the rear panel shows the presence of antenna bands. However, the OP6’s antenna strips remain inside the metallic frame and don’t slip on the rear side of the phone. This is an indication that the OnePlus 6 may arrive with a glass rear. However, there is no confirmation on whether the phone will be equipped with wireless charging feature. The other thing that has been known about the upcoming flagship is that it will be arriving with a notched display.
The left edge of the OnePlus 6 shows that the Alert Slider is no longer present on the same side. Probably, it has been relocated to the right edge of the phone. Also, a recent teaser from the company had confirmed that the Alert Slider of the OnePlus 6 can be used for adjusting the focus while taking a photo. Instead of the Alert Slider, the left side features a SIM card slot.
Another thing that can be noticed about the OnePlus 6 is that it is slightly wider than the OnePlus 5T. The Chinese manufacturer is yet to confirm on the launch date for it. However, recent reports claim that it should get announced by the end of this month or early next month.
