OnePlus 6 is one of the most awaited smartphones of the year. A lot of information on the specs of the phone has already surfaced. Recent rumors have claimed that the OnePlus 6 would be arriving in the market with a costlier price tag. A fresh leak reveals that the two variants of the OnePlus 6 will indeed arrive in the country with expensive pricing.
TrueTech.net, an Indian publication claims to have received information from its reliable source about the pricing of the OnePlus 6. It reveals that the 64 GB OnePlus 6 will be costing Rs. 36,999 ($556) whereas the 128 GB model will be priced Rs. 39,999 ($601).
The OnePlus 5T was released in two models namely, 64 GB storage + 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage + 8 GB RAM. Both the variants were respectively priced at Rs. 32,999 ($496) and Rs. 37,999 ($571). This shows that the OnePlus 6 with 64 GB storage will be landing in India with Rs. 4,000 ($60) increased pricing whereas the 128 GB model’s will be raised by Rs. 2,000 ($30).
Years ago, OnePlus had launched the OnePlus One smartphone as flagship killer as it came with topnotch specs with affordable pricing. Over the years, OnePlus has been consistently increasing the pricing of its phones. Since the OnePlus 6 is expected to come with overhaul improvements such as highest screen-to-body ratio on OnePlus phone, waterproof body, glass rear and Snapdragon 845, it is bound to carry expensive pricing. The handset will be officially announced in China and India on May 17.
