The OnePlus 6 and its controversial notch design are unveiled in a series of hulls. This new leak confirms most of the elements unveiled by previous renders and teasers: the borderless screen, the minimalist notch, the central dual rear photo sensor and the rectangular fingerprint sensor.
Today we see an entire collection of covers dedicated to OnePlus 6 on the web, with the smartphone in plain sight. MobileFun, a famous seller of smartphone accessories, has just posted on its website several protections of the Olixar range for the OnePlus 6. Thanks to this new leak, the OnePlus 6 does not have much to hide from its design.
In addition to the famous notch, the major difference between this new flagship and its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T, is the location of the dual rear photosensor. This time, it is no longer placed at the top left but in the center. This arrangement is reminiscent of the rear sensor of the OnePlus 3T, released late 2016.
Similarly, the dual sensor is no longer horizontal but vertical, like the Galaxy S9 Plus for example. Another change from OnePlus 5T is the shape of the fingerprint sensor. The OnePlus 6 is equipped with a rectangular rear fingerprint sensor that is reminiscent of the one on the front of the OnePlus 5. As you can see in this case render, one plus phone 6 seems to use a split-button design, and an original three-phase button has also become red.
As a reminder, the OnePlus 6 could be presented as of May 5, 2018, during a conference organized in China. Side technical sheet, the smartphone will be equipped with a SoC Snapdragon 845, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a dual 20MP photosensor and a 3450 mAh battery. The latest news, the OnePlus 6 will be sold around $740.
