On January 23, OnePlus officially announced a global new product launch conference to introduce the OnePlus 12 series.
This time, OnePlus is not only launching the overseas version of the OnePlus 12 but is also unveiling a new member of the OnePlus 12 series, the OnePlus 12R.
According to previously disclosed information, the Chinese version of the OnePlus 12R is the OnePlus Ace 3, resembling the “Lite” version of the OnePlus 12.
The main distinctions between the two lie in the screen and chip specifications. The OnePlus 12 features a 2K Oriental screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform, while the OnePlus 12R is equipped with a 1.5K Oriental screen and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 mobile platform.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 12 introduces the Sony LTY808 sensor. This sensor’s overall quality is second only to the Sony 1-inch sensor, boasting 50 Megapixels, a 1/1.4-inch outsole, and OIS optical image stabilization support.
In terms of algorithms, the OnePlus 12 will fully adopt the “OPPO Super Light and Shadow” algorithm and will be equipped with a comprehensive “Ultra Light and Shadow Imaging System.” This system is crafted to the highest standards by the same imaging team as the OPPO Find.
