OnePlus Mobile’s official Weibo account actively showcased new product features today. This time, it unveiled connectivity-related features of the OnePlus 12, highlighting the “exclusively self-developed” all-region multi-function NFC and infrared remote control function.
The term “all-area multi-function NFC” signifies that the mobile phone can sense NFC in multiple parts, expanding the sensing range to cover more areas of the entire device. Simultaneously, the official presented various usage scenarios, emphasizing the ability to swipe access control and bus cards using the mobile phone without the need to “aim” at a specific NFC sensing area; swiping is possible from the front, back, and sides.
Moreover, the device supports a multi-functional infrared remote control. Official demonstration screenshots reveal that the machine’s remote control app supports adding devices through photo capture or manual addition based on device type. The former automatically identifies the corresponding device by capturing images of the actual object, while the latter allows users to independently add devices like set-top boxes, TVs, smart boxes, and DVD players, and anticipates compatibility with household appliances and smart home products such as air conditioners and projectors.
In the previous night’s teaser, the official announced that the OnePlus 12 mobile phone offers a full-link Dolby Vision experience. This encompasses Dolby Vision support throughout the entire process, from shooting and editing to display and sharing, ensuring a “Pro-level” picture quality.
