Oneplus recently released OnePlus 10 Pro worldwide, and released the phone’s kernel source code for easy modification.
Since the Linux kernel is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2, all smartphone makers that distribute Android devices are obligated to release the kernel source code. Oneplus typically releases the kernel source code within two weeks of a phone’s release, and this one will be no different.
The kernel source code can be viewed on GitHub. This version corresponds to firmware version A.10 and is not the latest OxygenOS release. It is worth noting that the “Dirty Pipe” vulnerability is not fixed in this release.
OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China earlier this year with a new boundary-breaking design and flagship configuration, starting at 4,699 yuan, Igeekphone learned.
