Igeekphone news on June 10, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF will release its first smartphone CMF Phone (1) in the near future. Previously, it was reported that the CMF Phone (1) may just be a Phone (2a) with a replacement shell, using the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 processor. But the latest revelations suggest that the model may be equipped with a more powerful Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chip.
The revelation came from an overseas social platform X (formerly Twitter) user “Gadget Bits”, IT House needs to point out that the user has no previous record of Revelations, and its source can not be verified.
According to the leaked information, the CMF Phone (1) will use the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, instead of the Mediatek Dimensity 7200 equipped with the Phone (2a). In terms of performance, the Tianguet 7300 is expected to be comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor used in Nothing Phone (1).
The Mediatek Dimensity 7300 is an iteration of the Mediatek SkyGUet 7050, featuring an octa-core CPU architecture consisting of four Arm Cortex-A78 cores and four Arm Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.5GHz. The chip uses a 4nm manufacturing process, which will improve energy efficiency by 25% compared to the Tianguet 7050. It is worth mentioning that the upcoming OPPO Reno 12 Pro global version may also use the Tianguet 7300 processor.
In addition, the whistleblower also mentioned that the CMF Phone (1) will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, support 120Hz refresh rate, and the four sides are equal width, different from the previously rumored 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display. In terms of battery life, the machine may be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charge, compared to 45W for Nothing Phone (1). In addition, CMF Phone (1) will also use under-screen fingerprint recognition.
According to the report, the lowest configuration version of the CMF Phone (1) will have at least 6GB of operating memory and 128GB of storage space, and will run a custom system based on Android 14’s Nothing OS. However, it is reported that the device will not use the transparent Glyph Interface case that is the trademark of the Nothing phone, which is also a big feature of the phone. At the same time, CMF Phone (1) may not support NFC.
Another X user, Rahul Janardhanan, shared a conceptual image of the CMF Phone (1). As you can see from the picture, the machine has an orange design, and it seems to confirm that the Glyph Interface will not be used. The back of the phone is equipped with a rear dual camera and flash, while the center of the back has a polka dot. At the same time, the fuselage is also equipped with an official announcement of the mystery knob, but it is not known what the relevant knob is used for.
While there has been no official confirmation, 91mobiles says recent sources suggest the CMF Phone (1) could start at INR 12,000. It will be available in July in blue, black, green and orange, with the orange version likely to be available only in India.
