Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, recently revealed that Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series chip, but has yet to specify the model. It is likely to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the core mobile platform for mainstream flagship Android phones this year.
Carl Pei previously said Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in the US region and is expected to be available between July and September in the third quarter of this year.
Unlike the mid-range Nothing Phone (1), the Nothing Phone (2) will be more high-end. In the international market, the new phone will face competition from flagship models such as Samsung’s Galaxy S23 series, OnePlus 11 and Xiaomi 13 / Pro series.
