The CMF Phone 1, the first smartphone under Nothing’s sub-brand to be launched on July 8, released a teaser video today, revealing that its back has a unique turnbuckle design, suggesting that the back cover may be easily replaced.
Igeekphone notes that the video shows a flat head screw with a notch on the back of the phone that appears to hold the back cover in place and can be unscrewed with a screwdriver, suggesting a replaceable back cover and the possibility of easy repair. The trailer also shows off a textured orange back cover, which has previously been exposed in matte black. It is not clear whether the back covers are included in the package or sold separately.
The CMF Phone 1 is expected to have the following configurations:
6.67 inch FHD+ display
120Hz refresh rate
Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor
6GB or 8GB RAM is optional
microSD slot for expandable storage
5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge
