The rumor has been fully focused on the arrival of the high-end Nokia 9 for many weeks, China’s Fins-Chinese HMD Global has suddenly made Nokia 7 out of the box.
Since the end of last year, the Finnish-Chinese company HMD Global has the exclusive rights to release new phones and smartphones under the brand name of Nokia. Up to now, four Android smartphones have appeared: the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. While rumors have been running for the coming of the high end Nokia 9, HMD Global suddenly has the gap between the Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 filled with the introduction of the new Nokia 7.
Nokia 7 is a 5.2 inch Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels display device powered by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Like the Nokia 8, the Nokia 7 has thick bezels above and below the display the bottom bezel houses capacitive buttons. The Nokia 7 is the first smartphone from the company to feature a glass and aluminum combination chassis. The rear panel of the smartphone features vacuum molded 3D Gorilla Glass 3 that is flanked with 7000-series aluminum frame.
Nokia 7 comes in two versions: one with 4GB of working memory and 64GB of internal storage capacity and a more extensive 6GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage capacity. Both versions also have a micro SD memory card slot. The IP54 rating ensures that it is a splash-proof body. The dimensions of the Nokia 7 are 141.2 x 71.45 x 7.92mm. The other features of the Nokia 7 include rear-mounted fingerprint reader, USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Cat. 6 LTE modem, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, v5.0 Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
In camera area, the Nokia 7 is equipped with a 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture on the back and a 5MP a f/2.0 aperture front camera. The camera on the back of the device features a Carl Zeiss lens. HMD Global advertises mainly with bothie function, an option that allows both the front and rear camera to be taken simultaneously, for example, to be viewed with more people. The Nokia 7 is finally powered with a 3,000 mAh battery and features a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device and it comes in color variants like Gloss Black and Matte White.
The Nokia 7 is a middle class smartphone that is likely to get a selling price of 400 to 450 euros in Europe. Officially, the device has not yet been announced to Europe, but it will probably not take place for a long time. With previous Nokia devices, it was visible that they were first presented in China and thereafter in Europe and the United States.
The Nokia 7 model with 4 GB of RAM carries a price tag of 2,499 Yuan ( 377 USD ) and its 6 GB RAM variant costs 2,699 Yuan ( 407 USD ). All Nokia devices are sold first in China, then gradually appear in other markets such as the US and Europe and Nokia 7 is no exception. The mobile will officially on shelves on October 24 this.
