After a series of rumors circulated in recent weeks that have anticipated its features and design, HMD Global has made official the new Nokia 5.4, which is a low-end smartphone. Some of the main highlights of the Nokia 5.4 come from the eye-catching “hole punch” screen design, good performance provided by Snapdragon 662 chip, and quality 48MP rear 3 camera system.
Specifically, Nokia 5.4 is equipped with a 6.39-inch screen, + HD resolution, with an LCD panel and a resolution of 1560 by 720 pixels. As mentioned, at the top and left of the screen is a camera hole that is home to the selfie camera, while the fingerprint scanner sits on the back of the smartphone and is not located below the display or on the side of the device.
The performance segment is powered by the Snapdragon 662 chipset, which is manufactured in an 11-nanometer process and includes 8 Kryo 260 cores at a maximum frequency of 2 GHz. Along with it, the device also includes 4 or 6GB of working memory alongside 64 or 128GB of expandable storage.
The photo array on the back of the smartphone consists of the main sensor with a resolution of 48MP, along with a secondary sensor with a resolution of 5MP for wide-angle photography and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth collection. The front-facing selfie camera offers a resolution of 16MP, while the entire camera set offers artificial intelligence-based features to enhance the image and allow the shooting of cinematic format videos at 60 frames per second.
The rest of the device’s features are built when we look at the fact that in the left part of the frame Nokia has chosen to place a button to launch Google’s personal assistant, along with the implementation of a headphone jack on the device, NFC support and arrival with Bluetooth in version 4.2. Behind the scenes, we will meet the operating system Android 10, which will run a battery with a capacity of 4000mAh that supports normal charging with a power of 10 watts via a USB Type-C connector.
The Nokia 5.4 will be released soon in Europe, India, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America in two memory variants and in two colors: purple and blue at the price of 189 euro (around $230) in 4GB / 64GB version.
