According to 91Mobiles, OnePlus may launch a new Nord series phone next month, which could be the company’s cheapest phone to date and cost less than 18,000 rupees (RMB1678).
Last month, OnePlus introduced its mid-range model, the OnePlus Nord, which starts at 24,999 rupees. According to @the_tech_guy on Twitter, OnePlus is preparing to launch a snapdragon 460 chipset a new OnePlus Nord phone, which could be the cheapest OnePlus smartphone ever.
The source shared a series of screenshots of oneplus proprietary source code that mentions different processors that could power upcoming smartphones, including the Snapdragon 460 SoC, called the SM4250. The source code also mentions processors such as the Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 855, and Snapdragon 765G, but these are already available now that come with onePlus phones.
