MOTOROLA is about to launch its Razr 40 Ultra foldable phone overseas, and according to a new report from XDA, instead of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, it will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Its rival Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is expected to launch in July and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
MOTOROLA Razr 40 Ultra will feature a 120Hz (or 144Hz) 1080×2640 main AMOLED touchscreen, and the 3.5-3.6-inch outer screen will have a 1056×1066 resolution.
MOTOROLA Razr 40 Ultra will have 12 GB+512 GB of storage and will be available in dual SIM or eSIM models, both with NFC and fingerprint recognition. The rear 12MP wide-angle camera (igeekphone note: SONY IMX563 sensor reported) and 13MP ultra-wide-angle SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor, with a 32MP selfie camera and OmniVision OV32B40 sensor on the inner screen.
MOTOROLA Razr 40 Ultra will be available in black, blue and red with a 3640mAh battery that supports 33W charging and is expected to run Android 13-based My UX.
