The Motorola Moto G8 Plus, identified by its model code XT2019, would be presented at some point in this final stretch of the year, probably along with other models of the Moto G8 series. As expected, this would be the model with the most advanced specifications, including a Snapdragon 665 processor, three rear cameras and a large 6.3-inch Full HD screen.
The information comes from the well- known German leaker Roland Quandt, who once again seems to have had early access to information regarding the brand’s new models. Apparently, Motorola would have decided to reduce the differences between the Moto G series and Motorola One, through a design very similar to the latest models presented by the firm as the recent Motorola One Macro.
Thus, we are facing a phone built-in aluminum and plastic – although it could be glass, whose front houses a large 6.3 inches diagonal screen which led by a small notch in the form of a drop of water located just below of a considerable size front speaker. The panel in question would use IPS technology, and its resolution would be Full HD +.
The processor that will bring the Moto G8 Plus to life will be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665. Next to it are 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable by microSD, which is powered by a battery of 4000mAh capacity. It will have a fast charge through USB Type-C – located right next to the 3.5 mm headphone port, which itself is present again, and its software will be based on Android 9 Pie.
The filtered data also reveals information about its photographic section, indicating that the main sensor will have a resolution of 48MP, which is accompanied by an ultra-wide of 16MP capable of capturing images with a viewing angle of 117 degrees. Finally, we found a 5MP depth sensor. And although it might seem that there are four, and not three available sensors, the truth is that one of the lenses is intended to house the laser focusing system. Finally, its front camera has a resolution of 25MP.
Other details confirmed in the Motorola Moto G8 Plus are the inclusion of NFC, Dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE Cat.13, in addition to having dimensions of 9.1mm wide and 188 grams in weight. Surprisingly, his presentation would be scheduled for next October 24 in Brazil, despite the fact that the Moto G7 was presented in February of this year. For now, there are no data regarding the price of the phone.
