The official rendering of Moto Edge 2022 (codenamed Dubai+) has now been revealed by @onleaks, who posted a rendering of the device on June 4.
As you can see from the rendering, the phone has a rear portrait triple camera, and the main camera is an OIS-enabled 50MP pixel camera. The back is slightly curved and is expected to feel good, with a MOTOROLA logo in the middle of the back.
As you can also see from the rendering, the front of the phone is punched in the center and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
As previously revealed, the model will feature a 6.5-inch full-HD + pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, a Mediatek Dimensity MT6879 processor, and a built-in 6000mAh battery (no word on fast charging). It comes with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage.
For imaging, it has the rear 50MP master camera (OIS), 13MP wide-angle lens and 2MP depth-of-field sensor, and the front 32MP lens. The overall size is 160.8 x 74.2 x 8.2 mm (including the 10.1mm rear camera bulge).
Sources say the MT6879 will include two Cortex-A78 cores (2.6ghz) and six A55s (2.0ghz), as well as a yet-to-be-seen Mali-G79 GPU, which is expected to be slightly inferior to Dimensity 8000. Mediatek previously released the latest Dimensity 1050 and 930, and the new machine equipped with this chip will also appear in the third quarter, so it is speculated that MT6879 may be Dimensity 1050/930. But then, considering that Dimensity 1000 model released by Mediatek in 2019 was named as MT6889, The processor is MT6879, so the MT6879 is more likely to be Dimensity 930.
MOTOROLA Moto Edge 2022 is also reported to support a stylus. According to 91Mobiles, the new Moto Edge 2022 will launch in the third quarter of this year.
