Motorola has had two generations of Razr with a clamshell folding design, the company is expected to soon launch a new model, whose code name is Maven and whose launch is scheduled for this summer. Before the official launch, 91mobiles in collaboration with @evleaks have published the first images of the Motorola Maven (temporarily called).
From the picture, this can be seen that Motorola has completely changed the Maven to make it look more like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 than its predecessor, the Razr 5G. The Motorola Maven will have a more masculine design with a fairly square edge, the fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the power key and the screen chin is also made much thinner.
The rear camera of the Motorola Maven will receive a major upgrade, the same way Samsung did with the Flip series. Maven will own a cluster of 3 rear cameras including a 50MP main lens and 13MP wide-angle and macro cameras. The device has a 32MP selfie camera placed in the mole screen.
Motorola may launch two different versions of the folding screen phone with one using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and the other using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip. However, with the current situation of supply chain stagnation, it is likely that Motorola will only launch a single folding screen phone version. This machine is said to be equipped with 8GB or 12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB internal memory options.
In late July or early August, Motorola Maven will be launched in China and then on the global market. This device will be available in two color versions, Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue. At the moment, there are no more details or a prototype of this terminal.
