This model will use a 6.5-inch Full-HD + resolution pOLED display, support 144Hz refresh rate and 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, equipped with MediaTek Dimensity MT6879 processor (not queried), built-in 5000mAh battery, equipped with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB storage.
The MT6879 is said to contain two Cortex-A78 cores (2.6 GHz) and six A55s (2.0 GHz) and a yet-to-be-seen Mali-G79 GPU, which is expected to be slightly inferior to the Dimensity 8000. Of course, MediaTek previously released the latest Dimensity 1050 and 930, and new phones equipped with this chip will also be unveiled in the third quarter. Therefore, MT6879 may be Dimensity 1050/930.
The Moto Edge 2022 has a rear 50MP main camera (OIS), a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor, and a front 32MP lens. Motorola Moto Edge 2022 also supports a stylus.
As of now, we haven’t had any information on the pricing of the phone, but the specs suggest that the new phone is a mid-range model and is not expected to exceed the price of last year’s Moto Edge.
