Motorola, a company owned by Lenovo, will hold a special event on August 2 where it will present its two new smartphones. One of them is the Moto S30 Pro, which is listed on Geekbench under the code mark XT2243 and has already passed certification in the Chinese regulatory agency TENAA.
These listings do not reveal the name of the chipset inside, but the specifications are listed. Thus, it was concluded that it would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+, a flagship processor manufactured on a 5nm lithography process.
The Moto S30 Pro would be the version dedicated to the Chinese market, but globally the phone would debut as the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion. According to rumors, it will bring a 6.55-inch diagonal OLED display, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). At the back, there would be a dual photo setup, and the phone will be able to film in 8K quality.
We would get configurations involving 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage, and inside there would also be a 4270mAh battery. According to the 3C certification, it would benefit from a 68W power supply. The smartphone we are talking about would weigh only 170 grams and measure 158.4 x 71.9 x 7.6 mm.
Additionally, Moto S30 Pro would be available in several shades: Black, Gold, Blue, White, Cyan Blue, Red, Silver, and Grey. The phone could be presented by Motorola as soon as tomorrow, alongside the new camera phone Motorola X30 Pro and the foldable phone RAZR 2022.
