MOTOROLA launched its latest Moto G 5G (2023) phone on May 2, which supports sub-6GHz 5G network and is powered by Snapdragon 480+ chip. In contrast, Moto G 5G (2020) uses Snapdragon 750G chip. The Moto G 5G (2022) is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 chip. The Snapdragon 480 + isn’t all that impressive when it comes to performance improvements.
The Moto G 5G (2023) model will be available on May 25 for $250. By comparison, the Moto G 5G (2022) model has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $400 (currently about 2,772 yuan).
In terms of specs, the Moto G 5G (2023) has a Snapdragon 480+ chip, 4 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage, supports a microSD slot with up to 1 TB of expansion, and comes preloaded to run Android 13.
The Moto G 5G (2023) has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a 1,600 x 720 (20:9) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz.
Moto G 5G (2023) features waterproof design, 8.4mm thickness, 189g weight, 3.5mm headphone jack at bottom, close to USB-C port, 15W charging support, built-in 5000mAh battery, support data transfer (USB 2.0), There are also stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
