A new Motorola– branded device for the low-cost segment appears on the Verizon website: it is Moto E LE, a smartphone that seems destined to reap the legacy of Moto E6 and the recent Moto E6 Plus, which also arrived in Italy last fall.
Let’s start by saying that, at the moment, we do not have any image related to the smartphone: however on the Verizon site there is a data sheet with some essential data, which describes a terminal with Android 10, Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC, a screen with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels but with dimensions not better specified, and a 3550mAh battery. The dimensions of the device (59.77 x 76.25 x 8.65 mm), greater than those of the Moto E6 Plus which mounted a 6.1-inch display, make us lean towards the hypothesis of an even wider panel.
Moto E6 Plus: the design of the new Moto E LE could be very similar
It is, in short, a smartphone that should be a hybrid between E6 and E6 Plus: from the first, it would inherit, updating it, the Qualcomm processor (E6 Plus mounts a MediaTek), while from the second it should draw inspiration for the design, since that of E6 would appear very dated today, with the two large bezels above and below the screen that you can only afford if your name is iPhone SE.
If Moto E LE fits into the same groove as Moto E6 and E6 Plus, then it would not be destined to remain a Verizon exclusive for long. On the price we can only make assumptions based once again on the previous models, and therefore think of a figure around $150.
