This evening, Xiaomi officially renamed the Xiaomi MIUI official account as Xiaomi HyperOS, marking the complete transition from MIUI. In line with Xiaomi’s official data, MIUI was launched 13 years ago and now boasts 1.175 billion users worldwide. Additionally, the officials unveiled a retrospective commemorative video.
Furthermore, Xiaomi’s official introduction reveals that the new system, HyperOS (HyperOS), is built on the integration of Android and their self-developed Vela system. It will make its debut on the Xiaomi 14 series mobile phones.
According to Kacper Skrzypek, a Xiaomi news whistleblower, Xiaomi HyperOS represents the most significant update since MIUI 12 and includes an iOS-like lock screen editor.
Presently, numerous whistleblowers have shared screenshots of the Thermal OS interface. These screenshots show significant changes compared to MIUI 14, encompassing the desktop, control center, weather, calendar, camera, and more. While it is possible to edit the lock screen, it’s important to note that none of these screenshots have received official confirmation, so it’s wise for IT House friends to maintain a healthy level of skepticism.
